Strategic Alliance programs are some of my favorite types of projects because of the mix of resources and creative mind power that’s available that come with partner collaboration. I’ve worked with many large enterprises to put together co-marketing campaigns and positioning for joint initiatives, market leadership, and of course, increasing ROI.
Meeting critical customer needs with partners
Working closely with Zoom’s partner, Neat, we created a return to school and return to office campaign highlighting the benefit of our joint solution in combat critical workspace challenges. These campaigns were an absolute hit because they truly highlighted the value prop in a distinct, emotive way.
Co-marketing Campaigns
I created the concept for a “so easy a six-year old can do it” campaign theme to demonstrate the simplicity of installing Zoom Rooms. In partnership with Logitech, we showcased our joint solution – Zoom Rooms running on Logitech room hardware – in a video that helped dispel myths that video conference rooms were difficult to deploy. As of early 2020, this video has more than 2 million views across Youtube, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Thought Leadership
Here’s an example of one of the 20 sessions I owned at Zoomtopia 2019. I put together a thought leadership panel with Logitech (hardware expert), Herman Miller (workplace design expert), and yours truly (video communications solution expert) to discuss actionable tips to over 300+ in-person attendees on how to design a great conference room.
Joint Product Launches
The launch of the Zoom Rooms Appliance programs introduced a video conference room solution that tied Zoom Rooms software and hardware closer than ever. Working closer than ever with hardware partners, we launched a completely new Zoom Rooms OS jointly with three strategic partners and, as UC Today said, “shook the room” at Zoomtopia. As far as my role, I developed all the positioning, messaging, talking points, marketing readiness, campaigns, and keynote content for this launch.
